Here is the kiwi teams Monday night program for the rest of the year:
22 June to 13 July - Lucky Lotto Ladder
20 July to 21 September – Kiwi Teams Championships
28 September – NO KIWI TEAMS because of NZ National Congress
5 October to 26 October – Casual October – Casual matches only
2 November to 30 November – November Knockout
The Lotto Ladder event will be a fun experiment. It will be run on a challenge based ladder system. Teams will be seeded to start with. Team names will be drawn out of a hat each week and teams will get to choose their opponents amongst those teams left. Obviously this could work quite unfairly if you’re not lucky with the draw! There will be recognition for the top team as well as the team that improves the most places on its original seeding.
The Championships will have a much more serious and formal format designed to find the best Kiwi Teams Team for 2009. Depending on numbers and feedback it may be divided into open and restricted divisions.
